Black out the Wallabies

There is a very odd promotion in Wellington at the moment where people dress up in lame kangaroo/wallaby costumes, and you are asked to stick black stickers on them to "Black out the Wallabies" - i.e. encourage the All Blacks (NZ) to beat the Wallabies (AUS) in Rugby tonight.

These odd looking kangaroo costumes have been wandering around Wellington in the last few weeks and finally I took a photo of them. They tend to sit creepily and silently down on seats, holding out stickers for you. the photo is bad because I didn't want to go too close.

as much as I am totally uninterested in sport, I did want to shout "Go Wallabies!" every time I saw them :)
